Anglers Bootcamp provides a comprehensive overview of the basic components necessary to become successful as a saltwater angler. Students will learn about all of the various types of equipment, what they do and how they work, and ways in which they can utilize these tools in their own fishing adventures.
This includes everything from types of saltwater fishing reels to different rod styles, fishing lines and leaders, hook styles and sizes and the myriad types of artificial lures available in today’s market. But the course offers much more than just a basic overview of gear types.
There’s also substantial demonstrations about practical rigging techniques and the theories behind them. When should I use a swivel? What is a “leader,” and when do I need one? And how about “terminal tackle?”
These and many more subjects and concepts are explained and demonstrated in-depth, with the ultimate goal of giving students a thorough primer in basic saltwater angling terminology, equipment and strategies, so that they may embark on a lifelong series of angling adventures with more confidence.
